We Don’t Need No Thought Control
Tuesday, September 1, 2009 19:18I know I couldn’t have been the only one who immediately thought of a certain song when hearing of President Barack Obama’s plan to indoctrinate — uh, I mean, address — all of America’s students next week.
HEY, OBAMA! LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE!
Nah, I think it’s actually kinda cool that the President could potentially reach out to — and even inspire — a new generation of Americans to believe in noble and worthy tenets such as patriotism, honor, and civic duty. If that’s what he’s really doing, of course, and not merely attempting to influence a susceptible population into buying into his awful social, economic, and foreign policies in the wake of shockingly low approval numbers this early into a first term.
