Reimagining 8-Bit Classics: Michael Jackson’s Punch-Out!! and 3D Mega Man 2

Saturday, March 21, 2009 12:13

It’s lazy Saturday here at Geek Soap Box World Headquarters after a trying week of work, so let’s all relax together with some funky recreations of classic 8-Bit NES games.

How about Michael Jackson’s Punch-Out!! to whet your whistle in anticipation of this summer’s impending Wii release in the phenomenal boxing/puzzle franchise.

If the traditional is more your fare, take a gander at this beautiful remake of the incomparable Mega Man 2, in pseudo-3D ala Paper Mario.

I’d personally kill to play either of these, LOL.

Punch-Out and Mega Man 2 are my hubby’s favorite games (some of his first downloads for Virtual Console of course!)- I can’t wait to show these videos to him. ^_^
